Therapy in Berkeley:
Couples, Individuals, and Teen Girls
Some stories ground and connect us; others keep us stuck in chapters we’ve outgrown. Let's look at the script together.

Who You’ll Meet With in San Francisco
Hi, I am Courtney Quattrini, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with an office in Berkeley. I see couples, individuals, and teen girls in person here, and online anywhere in California.
I live in Rockridge, Oakland. The East Bay is not a satellite location for me, it is where my own life happens, which is a large part of why I wanted an office on this side of the bridge.
In therapy school, clinicians are taught that staying a neutral, sterile screen is the only way to keep the room safe. Taken far enough, that distance becomes an armor of its own, and it leaves you sitting across from a diagnostic manual instead of a person who understands what it is to sit in the fire.
So I don't sit in the therapy room as an aloof, sterile blank slate. I map out the patterns you can't see, call out where you are self-abandoning, and help you hand the pen back to yourself.
Because at the center of it, we all want our lives and our stories to matter.
Who I Work With in Berkeley
Different people arrive at different points in the story. Here is who tends to find their way to my Berkeley office.
Couples who have stopped arguing and started quietly avoiding each other
Partners planning a wedding, and realizing they want to have conversations focused on planning a life
Men who learned to be the fixer and cannot find the off switch
Adults whose anxiety looks like competence from the outside
Parents and partners in the middle of a life that changed faster than they did
Teen girls and young women figuring out who they are underneath the performance
If you are in Berkeley, Oakland, or anywhere in the East Bay, this is the work I do.

Where the Script Shows Up
Most of what we are working with was written a long time ago, by people who were improvising too. Here is where it usually surfaces.
• The argument that resets every time and never finishes
• A mind that will not stop running the next scenario
• Old pain that still sets the terms, worked at a pace you set
• Achievement that stopped feeling like anything
• A version of yourself you are outgrowing faster than you can name it
• Rules about love and worth you learned before you could question them
I see clients throughout Berkeley and across the East Bay.
In-Person Sessions in Berkeley
3514 Geary Blvd, Suites 307/308, San Francisco, CA 94118
There is a version of San Francisco that feels old, familiar, and unhurried - where the streets are lined with historic architecture, the pace naturally slows down, and you can finally catch your breath. That is what I hope to bring to life in my physical space.
Tucked away in the Jordan Park / Laurel Heights neighborhood, my office is a quiet place to step off the city treadmill, set down the public performance, and look at your story together.
When you arrive, help yourself to hot tea, filtered water, or a light snack before we begin.
I see clients in person at my Berkeley office.
Getting Here & Accessibility
Transit & Access: Easily accessible from the Presidio and Pacific Heights, with direct access via central Muni transit routes. Convenient neighborhood street parking is available in the surrounding area.
Accessibility Note: Please note that our office is accessed via a traditional flight of stairs. If stairs present a physical barrier, secure online telehealth is always available statewide across California.
In-person work can give you a consistent place to slow down, reflect, and focus on what needs attention. Some people find that a room set aside for this makes the work easier to enter and easier to leave behind.
